Aspen Park Baptist Church |

Aspen Park Baptist Church began in 1963 as Clayton Baptist Church. FBCBA decided to use a monetary gift to purchase this land and all of its structures. The first service was held June 17th, 1963, with about 50 people in attendance. Thus began Clayton Baptist Church Mission. On May 2, 1965, the mission became a self-supporting congregation. A new sanctuary and nursery were built in 1968 and dedicated in 1969.The sanctuary was enlarged and an addition to the north was built in 1979, at that time more land was purchased to the southwest of the church. In 1989, after financial struggles, First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow stepped in to help Clayton Baptist Church. In October of 1990 the Rev, David Crump was called as pastor and currently serves at Aspen Park Baptist Church. In May of 1992, Clayton once again severed its ties with First Baptist to stand on its own, changing its name to Aspen Park Baptist Church. Aspen Park built a new Worship Center in 2005, it was dedicated and the first service was held July 3, 2005. Our Motivation To please God by seizing this "window of opportunity" in accepting this Faith challenge with a Mission of eternal significance. As a Bible based, Southern Baptist Church being led by the Holy Spirit through prayer, we endeavor to equip our fellowship to be strong, obedient Christians who align themselves with the will of God to reach the lost and hurting in our community and around the world.
