Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church

Sequoyah Hills began in 1948 as a mission from Hillcrest Baptist Church. They first met in a tent at our present location as a community church. After many years of property aquisision and multiple building projects, we now are a thriving congregation from all over the metro area.

Our 3 fold mission is to:

1) TRANSFORM lives through the Love of Christ.

2) EQUIP Believers to do the work of ministry and

3) EMPOWER Christians to fulfill the great commission.

Our desire is to create a place to belong no matter who you are or where you have come from. We all need a sense of belonging and our warm loving fellowship has created an atmosphere of acceptance in Christ's love. Those who attend our fellowship will find practical help, guidance and teaching from God's Word for their everyday lives.

God is truly at work in the lives of the people of Sequoyah Hills. We have been blessed to continually grow spiritually and experience Kingdom growth in an area of our city that is not positioned for population growth. It can only be explained as God at work.

All our ministries from preaching, teaching, ladies, children, students, to families offer practical application for everyday life in God's Kingdom according to God's Word.
