Cedarpoint Church

My name is Pastor Rick Burke and I am from the Claremore-Verdigris area originally. I moved to Clovis, NM and was the youth minister at a great church for 17 years. I reached a point where I believed it was time for me to pastor. I had heard a pastor say that he had asked the Lord to send him to a place that he could give his life to; I had never heard anyone say that and it challenged me. So I began to pray about coming back to the Claremore area because I believed I would give the rest of my life there. The Lord has been gracious and allowed me to come back to where I will give the rest of my life here.

When we came back to Claremore something happened that we had not planned on. We met a group that was looking for a pastor. We had no idea that the Lord had this in mind when we moved here, but we ended up merging with a great group of people. We had a number of friends that moved with us to
help us get started. I am so grateful to the Lord for allowing me to be here. We want to be a church that has a presence and involvement in the community in a positive way. We want to be known as a church that is GOOD to the community we live in.

Our mission statement at Cedarpoint is - "Love God, Love People, Serve our World". We do a Sunday morning service at 10 a.m. and instead of doing a midweek service we have home groups. These are a very important part of our vision.

Some of our church staff consists of Forrest & Jenny Coulter who facilitate Home groups and Children's ministry. Billy & Andrea Chapman are our Youth Ministers. Josh & Bevin Bold work with College and Young adults. Brian Marzolf is our Worship Leader, and Patricia Marzolf is our Administrator at Cedarpoint Church. We are a Non-Denominational church with a Progressive worship and contemporary style of service. We invite you to join us at Cedarpoint Church which is located at 1660 N. Lynn Riggs in Claremore, OK (North of Blue Starr on Highway 66).
