Faith Assembly

Faith Assembly is an Assemblies of God church that was established in 1927 under the direction of Rev. Garvin of Tulsa. Our first building was built and furnished by philanthropist Charles Page in appreciation to God for healing him of an illness. Our present building was constructed in 1969 and has been a source of strength in our community ever since.
Pastor Kelly Goins has been with Faith Assembly over the past 3 years during which time the church has seen a new explosion of growth, especially in our Young Families. Pastor Kelly brings in a fresh enthusiasm to worship, prayer and the word of God.

Faith Assembly is in a new season of growth. Not just numerically but spiritually as well. Over the past 6 months God has been teaching us the value of prayer. This emphasis on Prayer is permeating every aspect of our church. We believe that Prayer is the engine that drives the church. Many in our church have dedicated themselves to Prayer and Fasting. We now offer a Prayer service at noon every Wednesday. This commitment to prayer is really making a difference in our Sunday Services. God’s presence is felt in our service in a powerful way through Worship and Prayer. It’s what we have been praying for.

Faith Assembly has a ministry for every age group. We have an awesome Kids Ministry called Kids of Faith. Our Youth Ministry is called Pulse and reaches teens from ages 12-18. Our Young Adult ministry is called RealLife and reaches out to adults 18-25 years of age. RealLife will start a Saturday Night worship encounter beginning in April. Our Adult ministry has classes on Wednesday evenings with Bible Studies for both Men and Women. Our men have been going through the Men’s Fraternity program on Wednesday nights and Tuesday Mornings at 6 am. Our Senior Adult group is very active at Faith. They enjoy a Sunday Evening service with traditional music and monthly actives. We also offer Home Groups on Sunday Nights for all others who want to attend.

Currently Faith Assembly offers three worship services. A Traditional Service Sundays at 9:30 am, a Contemporary Service Sundays at 10:30 am, and a Spanish Service on Sundays at 1:30 pm. We will be starting a fourth service beginning in April every other Saturday Night.

When new people attend Faith, the most common responses are statements like; “these are the friendliest people we have ever met”, or “this really feels like home”, or “I had no idea that this church had so many young families”, or “It’s great to meet a Pastor with integrity.” Faith Assembly is a church where you won’t just get lost in the crowd. People learn your name and genuinely care about you. You’re not just a number to us.

If you are not currently attending church anywhere, you are always invited to one of our Sunday service. When you leave our church on Sunday you will have met at lots of friendly people, you will have felt God’s presence in a way you haven’t in a long time, and your kids will bug you to attend week after week.
