Pastor Brett Rickey and his wife Mindy started FamilyChurch in September of 2000 in response to God’s calling to lead a new kind of church that reaches people who are seriously seeking to connect with God.

Meet Pastor Brett

In October 1997, I was impressed by God to join Him in changing the world by being a full-time minister of the good news. I left a good job, and with God's help and my wife's support, attended seminary at ORU. In September 2000, we launched Tulsa FamilyChurch.

In our first 8 years, God has blessed us tremendously as we have grown to more than 700 people in average worship attendance.Our ministry is focused on reflecting the preaching, teaching and healing ministry of Jesus by making God's word simple enough for all to understand. We know that God is the God of the impossible and believe we will continue to see miraculous changes in the lives of the people who come to us.
I also have a deep concern to make sure that children who come to FamilyChurch understand that they are loved and have a high priority in everything we do. We want to make church a place where they can have fun and learn about our great God all at the same time. We believe it is a sin to make church boring, so we do our best to have a good time and teach life principles from the word of God.
