Memorial Drive Church

Memorial Drive Church

We gather to praise the name of Jesus. We choose to sing a cappella that our hearts be heard on high. You will notice that we observe the Lord's Supper every Sunday. We join with Christians around the world to remember and to celebrate all that Christ did as he gave his body to be broken for us. We hope that you will feel Christ's love for you in the breaking of the bread and in the midst of our fellowship. Following communion a collection will be taken as our family is responsible for its bills in addition to our many ministries. There will be a sermon from the inspired Word of God. The curtains behind the pulpit open to the baptistery of warm water. There is nothing magic about the water. It serves as a grave where believers are buried that they be raised to start life over (Rom. 6:3-5). Our goals today are several. We desperately want to bring honor to the one, true living God. We need to be here for we get tired and weary. We need each other to motivate one another to keep going (Heb. 10:25). We want you to sense that we need you...right now...today. You bring us honor that you would spend your valuable time at this church. Visit us soon!

Small Groups

As our family grows larger and larger, we realize that some people are encouraged by large crowds and easily connect with people in this type of setting, while others need a more intimate setting to share personal struggles, needs or prayer requests. On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, we meet as a large family to encourage each other in praise and worship. On Sunday evenings, or other various times, we meet in small groups to try to help each other develop deeper, personal relationships with each other and with God. Our desire is that you would spend time in prayer for God to lead you to the right small group and then try visiting some small groups. We are confident that God will place you in just the right group to help you achieve healing, growth and fellowship.

The early Christians met together in their homes. They broke bread together. They studied together. They prayed together. They ministered to each other’s needs. It is nice to see that some things have not changed.

Any person is welcome in any group. Feel free to contact one of the group leaders or the church office to get meeting locations and latest information.
