New Joy Fellowship

New Joy Fellowship is a young church ministry, completing its 9th year this June 2007. NJF was founded by Pastor Jerone Roland, who felt led by God to plant a church in order to meet the spiritual needs of the growing multi-cultural population moving into the communities of East Tulsa. NJF started with only 6 people, but has now grow to over 300 members on roll and 95 to over 100 worship with us on the weekends.

NJF is committed to a Bible centered, preaching, and teaching fellowship. This Bible centered emphasis, is expressed through; worship, discipleship training, and expressed through the ministries implemented and developed by NJF.

NJF is committed to sharing the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST in our community, our nation, and our world. We are also committed to helping new Disciples of Christ in discovering and developing their gift(s) in order to use them as apart of New Joy Fellowship and the wider community of faith. We are also committed to providing ministries that will make a difference in our community and city. NJF features ministries for women & men, marriage & family, singles, youth & children and senior citizens. But, we also are continually prayerful to address new needs that might arise. NJF's basic message is that GOD LOVES ALL PEOPLE and through the Reconciliator, JESUS CHRIST, He desires to have a personal relationship with all of humankind (John 3:16).

New Joy Fellowship exists to increase God’s Kingdom, by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His love and His saving power. Furthermore, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and by the Word of God will also create a culture and environment for people to experience wholeness, healing and growth in their relationship with God and His Family.

We would like you to know that we are very thankful for the opportunity to help ministries like NJF; to communicate the message of Christ to a lost world. But we give special thanks to the Tulsa Metro Baptist Association and to people and businesses like Dee Sokolosky at First Bank of Owasso who have been a tremendous blessing in helping us to realize the vision of God's ministry for NJF.

Our church address is 14017 E. 11th Street. We are located approx. 1 to 2 miles east of East Central High School, between 129th and 145th on the north side of East 11th.
