Crossroads Church

Tell us about your history: Crossroads was founded in 1973, and has served Jenks and S Tulsa for more than 30 years. We call ourselves 'The Family Place' because Crossroads Church main emphasis is the family. We aim to help parents raise great kids for God's glory. We strive to help teens avoid the traps the world has set for them. We do our best to reach children with the gospel at a young age so they can grow to do great things for God. Crossroads Church is in the 'real world' so we give people relevant, Biblical answers and guidance to assist them in today's world and culture. Finally, we're a real FAMILY church. Lots of churches and people talk a lot about community. Well, we do more than talk about it--we live it! We don't believe in cliques or special groups at our church because there are none! Everybody's important at Crossroads, regardless of their background or social status. The pastor and good people of the church will make you feel very important during your first visit because you are important to God! And, should you decide to begin attending faithfully, you'll never be ignored or treated indifferently. That's a promise!

Give us a litte known fact to someone who has not attended before: Crossroads faithfully supports several Christian colleges, many missionaries, and other missions. In fact, our church gave nearly 20% of the church's income last year to outside ministries. We're not about sitting on God's money and getting rich. When it comes to tithing and stewardship, we practice what we preach.

Are you family-friendly? WE LOVE KIDS! Our Kids' Ministry is among the best in the city. We don't just keep our kids busy making noise and playing video games--we teach them about God's plan for them. And, we have a special place in our heart for single parents, who can feel out of place at most churches. We're here for them. Finally, we aren't just going after 1 or 2 generations. The Bible doesn't tell us to just go after young people, Baby Boomers or Generation X. Jesus told us to tell EVERYONE! So if you come to Crossroads, you'll find younger and older folks worshipping side by side, encouraging each other, and building the church together.
