Woodcrest Free Will Baptist Church

Woodcrest Free Will Baptist Church was formerly known as the East Tulsa Free Will Baptist Church. The church was organized on Friday evening, February 17, 1961 at 25 South 161st Ave in Tulsa, OK with twenty one charter members.

Pastor Bailey Thompson led the church to relocating to Catoosa in October of 1990. The church sits on 13 acres and constructed a new activity building in 1994. Pastor Roger Ballard, and his wife Vickie and daughter Jennifer came to Woodcrest in January of 2000. Our mission statement is: "To know Jesus Christ and to make him known."

Our calling is to live out the "Great Commandment" and the "Great
Commission." Every thing we do centers around these two objectives.

This fall (August) we began "Woodcrest Solid Kids Preschool" for ages K-3 & K-4. Children's Director Debria Perry, has a Masters Degree in "Human Relations" from OU and is both the Preschool Director and teaches the K-3 Class. Beth Sullivan holds a degree in Elementary Education from NSU and teaches the K-4 program.
