Woodland Acres Baptist Church

Woodland Acres Baptist Church was birthed in the hearts and minds of visionary Christians over four decades ago. Over the years, the Lord has developed in us a rich heritage of faith. It is a heritage that empowers us to build upon the lessons of the past, seek God's face for the present, and trust Him with the future.

Our mission is to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that discipleship is the process God uses to accomplish His transforming work in our lives. At Woodland Acres, we seek to help people in every spiritual condition to follow Jesus, whether they are lost, new Christians, or mature believers.

In September, 2006, the Lord called Dr. David Rhoades to be our Senior Pastor. David is a dynamic, relevant preacher who is always faithful in preaching the Word of God. He is equipping us to carry out our mission to make disciples.

Dale Powell leads our music and senior adult ministries. One pastor recently called Dale's music ministry "one of the best kept secrets in Tulsa." Additionally, our senior adults are active in serving the Lord wherever they go. Jim Lokey leads our youth ministry. The Lord uses Jim in incredible ways to reach out to young people who are in all kinds of stages of life.

We are excited to see what God's plans for us are in the future. We're expanding our ministries so we can reach kids and their parents effectively.

Woodland Acres is located 55th and S. Harvard, Tulsa, OK. We're just south of I-44 on Harvard Ave.
